Span 2 is the second of Rebecca Strzelec's cardigan clips, echoing the form and function of the collection of 1950s clips passed down to the artist by her grandmother. Designed to fasten a cardigan when it is worn unbuttoned the pieces speak to contemporary modes of body adornment. Created using computer aided design (CAD) and built as one piece, even with the moving parts, on a 3D printer.
